Building

I build things partly because they're useful and partly because building is one of the ways I learn.

These are experiments and personal projects rather than products. Some are used daily, some were abandoned once they had answered the question that prompted them, and a few exist only because I wanted to find out whether something was possible. Treating any of them as a production-grade commercial offering would be a misreading.

Most of them live under Penguin Ridge, which is the workshop: the place the building happens, as distinct from this site, which is where the thinking accumulates.
