I'm a senior technology and digital leader, and a self-taught builder.

I'm interested in how technology changes organisations — not the tools themselves so much as what happens to the work, the structures and the judgement around them once the tools change what is possible. Most of the writing here is about AI, software, work, services and leadership.

I also build things. Partly because they're useful, and partly because building is one of the ways I find out whether an idea survives contact with something real. That informs the writing more than anything else does.
